Callestick Farm Ice Cream
Champion Cornish ice cream made for generations to our original family recipe, with fresh milk from our own grass-fed herd of Jersey x Friesian cows that graze naturally here on our farm.
We have been farming Callestick since 1953, when Simon and Judith Parker moved to Callestick Farm, initially operating a traditional mixed farm with chickens, pigs, milking cows, sheep, beef stock & also growing our own cereals.
In the late 1970’s their son, Sebastian, returned to the farm with his wife Angela, having moved away to study environmental studies & agriculture with the aim to modernise the farm.
Following the introduction of milk quotas, Simon & Angela began making ice cream whilst Sebastian ran the farm & Judith helped to look after Sebastian & Angela’s four sons, Ben, Sam, Josh & Jake. After some research in markets & machinery, Callestick Farm Ice Cream was born!
We started to supply theatre tubs to the Hall for Cornwall & developed a tub of our Clotted Cream ice cream for patients at the Royal Cornwall hospital ( which we still supply today).
In 2001 we started supplying the now famous Eden project – & enjoyed a long relationship supplying daily to satisfy demands for the 2 Million visitors flocking there every year at this time.
We started to supply ice creams to outlets at the Olympic Park, the O2 stadium, Wembley , Greenwich & the Tower of London Battersea Park & the British Museum through Five Star Caterers who also serve our ice creams at county shows & music festivals nationally.
Over the years we have traded at many consumer shows – from school fetes to County shows & since its inception have traded at Countryfile Live at Blenheim Palace.
