Plaice is a British native flat-fish, distinctively recognised by it’s orange spots. The flesh of the fish is soft and a little watery, with a high protein content, therefore it is often seen as a healthy choice. Plaice tastes delicious sliced into strips, bread crumbed and fried to make goujons, or alternatively can be baked whole with olive oil, salt and lemon juice to make a tasty and romantic meal for two.
